Position:- QA Architect
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Computer Engineering with 10+ years overall experience with considerable experience in software QA engineer role in a product development env. (storage domain with exposure to SAS/SATA/SCSI/FC protocols, RAID stack, embedded processors is highly desired). Thorough knowledge of complete software development life cycle from quality process perspective. Must be self-motivated, with excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Must have a proven ability to administer metrics, process definition & execution, lead organizational changes for multiple product teams working in fast paced, dynamic and global environment to deliver quality results. Experience with commercial configuration management, project planning, test planning, and test management tools for data mining to drive quality metrics is a must.
Must have skills:
1. Experience as software development/test engineer/lead/architect/manager
2. Experience as software quality engineer administering metrics, designing/developing processes in collaboration with engineering leadership team. Process execution, data mining/analysis to derive required quality metrics. Exposure to customers from quality mgmt. perspective.
3. Passion for quality as career option
4. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Ability to neutrally document the meetings minutes and systemic tracking of AIs to closure over the period of time and influencing stakeholders to required actions will be a key to success.
Desired skills:
1. Experience in attending meetings with customer in high pressure situations along with Sr. mgmt & executives
2. Lead organizational change to move towards better quality process and high customer satisfaction.
This job will involve domestic travel across COMPANY locations in India & occasional international travel.
